We are committed to keeping Hytale Den running smoothly for everyone. To deliver performance improvements, security updates, and new features, we schedule regular maintenance windows each month. Here is the full schedule for February 2026.
Scheduled Maintenance Windows
February 5, 2026 - Database Optimization
Time: 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC
What is happening:
- Database query optimization and index rebuilding for faster server listing loads
- Security patches for all backend services
- SSL certificate rotation
Expected impact: Server listings, voting, and user profiles may be temporarily unavailable. Servers themselves will continue running normally. Only the Hytale Den website is affected.
February 12, 2026 - Infrastructure Upgrade
Time: 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM UTC
What is happening:
- Upgrading our hosting infrastructure to handle increased traffic since the Hytale launch
- Deploying new real-time player count tracking for server listings
- Improving search and filtering performance
- Scaling our API servers to support higher request volumes
Expected impact: The Hytale Den website will be fully offline during this window. This is the largest maintenance of the month. We recommend bookmarking your favorite server IPs in advance so you can still connect directly even if the site is down.
February 26, 2026 - Routine Maintenance
Time: 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM UTC
What is happening:
- Routine system updates and security patches
- Log rotation and cleanup
- Performance monitoring checks
Expected impact: Brief interruptions (under 5 minutes) may occur. Most users will not notice any downtime.
How This Affects You
During maintenance windows:
- Server listings may be temporarily unavailable or show stale data
- Voting will be paused and will resume immediately after maintenance completes
- User accounts will be inaccessible during full-downtime windows
- Server owners will not be able to update their listings during maintenance
- Your Hytale servers keep running. Our maintenance only affects the Hytale Den website and API, not the game servers themselves
Status Updates
We post real-time status updates during maintenance on our Discord server. Join us there for live progress reports and immediate notification when services are restored.
If you experience any issues after a maintenance window that do not resolve within 30 minutes, please report them on our Discord so we can investigate promptly.
Why We Schedule Maintenance at These Times
All maintenance is scheduled during the 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM UTC window, which corresponds to late night / early morning for most of our user base. We aim to minimize disruption by choosing the lowest-traffic hours based on our analytics data.
